Trip to visit Risa - Philadelphia Museum of Art
Seeing important sites in our nation's history at the Constitution Center
Risa showed me around Penn, where she finished law school a few weeks later
Saw a stunt man jump from a tall building and bonded with Terrence Howard during the filming of Dead Man Down
Keeping with tradition, we had high tea together- this time at the Four Seasons
Before I flew out of New York, we spent the day attending a taping of the now-defunct show The Revolution with hosts Tim Gunn and Ty Pennington, guest Suzanne Somers
We also slipped in a trip to the MoMA and saw some epic works of art
I was lucky to spend Mothers' Day with my very own wonderful Mom in southern California scouting for housing
Back in Houston, medical school wrapped up with a final social event at the Downtown Aquarium
Family came into town for graduation and we dined in style at Reef (above), Feast, Canopy, the original Ninfa's on Navigation, Local Foods, Amy's Ice Cream, and Philippe (below)
We got a kick out of the quirky Hotel ZaZa where the girls indulged in a spa day
Walking across the stage at Jones Hall felt like such a relief! Finally!! I'm so glad my whole family could be there, and I am very grateful for their support (and expert packing assistance).
Dad, Wentworth and I packed up a Penkse and drove west until we hit ocean and my new home in southern California
SO glad I was able to make it to Houston for your medical school graduation, Becky! What fun!
